Thomas Falchi

Since June 2019, the Thomas Falchi tax law office puts all the experience, skills and network of its founder at the service of its customers, natural or legal persons, in order to solve their tax issues in terms of compliance (tax obligations), business advisory and litigation in the following areas:

He also ensures legal and tax monitoring as well as training on behalf of his clients. Thomas Falchi personally exercises the missions entrusted to him with competence, efficiency, diligence and independence while respecting the needs and financial contingencies of his clients, but also in compliance with the ethical rules which govern his profession as well as with respect for applicable legislation. For information, he is a member of the IACF (Institute of tax advice lawyers) and of the ACE (Corporate counsel lawyers).

Thomas Falchi was a tax inspector for eight years.

  • Firstly within the legal department of the tax department of Paris, where he dealt with litigation files (claims from taxpayers and defence statements before the administrative jurisdictions - TA and CAA) and non-contentious files (tax conciliator).
  • He then joined Section A of Office D2 of the D Sub-Directorate - Transaction Taxation of the Directorate of Tax Legislation (DLF); section A was in charge of legislation and guidelines relating to VAT - rates, special regimes - and transfer duties (DMTO) - transfer of buildings, sale of businesses, acts of business life, etc.
  • He participated in the defence of France interests in the context of Community disputes (drafting responses to the European Commission opinions, supporting lawyers before the Court of Justice of the European Union) and supporting the DGFiP network (requests for solutions). He was a member of the Joint Committee on Publications and Press Agencies (CPPAP), responsible for representing the DGFiP.

In 2015, he joined the EY law firm where he worked as a manager in the FSO (Financial Services Organization) department in charge of legal and tax issues for banks, insurers and asset managers.

In addition to rulings demands relating to restructuring operations, in particular cross-border, or litigation, he has been developing skills in the preparation of tax packages for legal persons and tax reviews, consultations relating to the application of international conventions and has been trained to " tax due diligence".

He also developed skills relating to the recovery of withholding taxes deducted from dividends, both in France and in the other member countries of the European Union.

He was sworn in as a lawyer in March 2016. In June 2016, he joined CLC Avocats.

During this three years experience he developed his skills in the preparation and the filing of tax returns for individuals, in the regularization of unreported foreign assets and in the application of international tax treaties.

He completed his skills in tax audit assistance, litigation and business tax advisory on issues encountered by both natural and legal persons.
